Only Murders in The Building Short Film Project

A recreation of The Screenplay Only Murders In The Building. Set in the 1920's at The Cecil Hotel. Steve is a reporter for true crime who is staying at The Hotel to investigate alongside The Butler Marty and Housekeeping Mabel. Tim is a guest staying at the hotel who is murdered.

In my chosen scene, Mabel and Steve enter Steve’s 1920’s French art deco hotel room and are going through clues (Mabel is wearing gloves). Mabel finds letters with small handwriting reading “If there’s anyone left to care, there’s nothing for me anymore.” Later in the scene Marty enters through the hallway into the room to see the clues.
